Multi-Point
The Ron StageMaster PRR (Portable Radio Receiver) is a compact and highly portable Bluetooth-compatible load monitoring system capable of monitoring up to 75 individual load cells from the convenience of an iPad or iPhone using the Ron StageMaster App.
In 2005, we put our extensive knowledge and experience in advanced wireless load cell technology to use in the development of our first multi-point systems. Soon after, we launched the Ron StageMaster and Ron CraneMaster multi-point load monitoring and overload prevention systems for both the entertainment industry and general industrial applications.
Shortly after its launch, the Ron StageMaster gained international acclaim, winning innovation awards at both the PLASA and LDI trade shows.
The Ron StageMaster has been used by top-level world tours and venues such as Metallica, Cirque du Solai, and the Sydney Opera House, while the Ron CraneMaster has been used on high-profile aerospace projects like the NASA/Boeing Starliner spacecraft.
Multi-point lifting and weighing is more complex than single-point operations because of something known as statically indeterminate structures. Any time there are more than two hoists on a beam or more than three hoists in a structure, it becomes statically indeterminate. This results in an unpredictable load distribution and may lead to a load imbalance with some hoists carrying a dangerously disproportionate amount of the total load.
Only by using a multi-point load monitoring system with a real-time load map can you guarantee that the load is evenly and safely distributed among the lifting points.
Below you’ll find our selection of multi-point systems featuring both wired and wireless load cells and a variety of available central radio receivers.
