Wireless Ron 2501 system used on Ball Aerospace satellite
Launched in 2017 after assembly by Ball Aerospace, the JPSS-1/NOAA-20 was the first satellite of NASA & NOAA's Joint Polar Satellite System.
The JPSS provides global observations that serve as the backbone of both short- and long-term forecasts, including those that help us predict and prepare for severe weather events.
A wireless 3-ton Ron 2501 dynamometer was used during the assembly.
